What is the Michigan Home Guard?

The MHG is a homeland defense force dedicated to the preservation of the United States Constitution as well as the Constitution of the State of Michigan and our communities.

We are fathers and mothers; sons and daughters; we hold jobs, we have hobbies; we are Patriots and we are family. Some are veterans, firefighters, medics, and police officers. We are a non-radical, non-partisan, non-discriminatory, unit dedicated to training in preparation for tyranny, social discord and natural disaster.

The MHG is broken up into 6 districts across the state; Superior, North East, North West, East, Central, and West. Districts are broken down into 18 sectors across the state. Each sector has a minimum of three counties with the largest sector containing seven counties.

The Commander (CO) is in charge of the entire state, with the Executive Officer (XO) as second in command. After the CO and XO, each district is commanded by a Captain (Cpt), with a Lieutenant (Lt) in charge of each sector, and a Sergeant (Sgt) in charge of individual counties.
